Five styles for every kind of team

• Fun & silly names pair a goofy adjective with an animal or a snack, like The Funky Falcons or The Jolly Waffles. Great for kids, classrooms, and casual games.
• Sports names sound like a real league team, like Thunder Hawks or Harbor Sharks.
• Work & office names poke fun at office life, like Ctrl Alt Defeat, The Unmutables, or Reply All Stars. Perfect for hackathons, offsites, and work trivia.
• Trivia night names are mostly puns, like Quizzly Bears, Smarty Pints, and Les Quizerables.
• Gaming & esports names sound like a clan or a pro team, like Neon Vipers or Pixel Paladins.

Tips for a great team name

• Say it out loud. The host will read it to the whole room, so make sure it’s easy to say.
• Keep it short. Short names fit on scoreboards and jerseys.
• Make it about the team. Add your company, class, or town with Include a word.
• Vote fast. Shortlist a few favorites and let the wheel decide.
