Tier lists your team will actually argue about

A tier list is a fast way to settle a debate, and it’s a great warm-up for a meeting or retro. Share your screen, add a list, and let the team decide where everything goes.

  • Tier list your meetings. Pick the Work meetings starter list and rank standups, planning, and “the meeting that could have been an email.” It’s a fun, honest way to open a retro.
  • Snack wars. Rank the break room snacks, the team lunch options, or the best pizza toppings.
  • Classroom favorites. Have students rank book characters, inventions, or school subjects, then explain their picks.
  • Game night. Rank characters, maps, board games, or video game levels.

Keyboard and accessibility

Every item is a button. Tab to an item, then use the up and down arrow keys to move it between tiers and the left and right arrow keys to change its position in a tier. Press Delete to remove it. You can also select an item and choose a tier from the bar that appears, which works with a keyboard, a mouse, or a touch screen.

Private by design

Your tier list and any images stay in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, and there’s no account to make. The downloaded image is drawn in your browser too.

Frequently asked questions

What does S tier mean?

S is the top tier, for the very best. Many video games use an S rank for a perfect or near-perfect score, and tier lists borrowed the idea. Below S, the tiers usually run A, B, C, and D, from great to bad.

Can I change the tiers?

Yes. Press Edit tiers to rename a tier, change its color, move it up or down, delete it, or add more tiers. A tier list can have up to 12 tiers.

Can I use pictures?

Yes. Press Add images and choose pictures from your device. They’re cropped to squares and kept in your browser. They’re never uploaded.

Do images work in share links?

No. A link can only hold text, so share links include your text items and tiers. To share a tier list with pictures, use Download image and send the picture.

Is my tier list saved?

Yes. It’s saved in this browser as you go, so you can close the tab and finish it later.
