How to play Thanksgiving bingo
- Choose how many cards you need, then press Make cards and Print cards.
- Hand out a card and some dried corn kernels, beans, or cereal to each player.
- Call out the words one at a time, or play “dinner table bingo” where players mark things as they actually happen during the meal.
- Five in a row wins. Gobble loudly to claim it.
A game for the whole table
Thanksgiving brings together cousins of every age, and bingo is one of the few games a five-year-old and a grandparent can play together. The cards use the foods and moments everyone knows: Pumpkin pie, Cranberry sauce, The kids’ table, and Leftover sandwich.
Ways to play
- Classic bingo. Call the words out loud in random order. The Bingo Caller can draw them for you in words mode.
- Dinner table bingo. Mark squares as they really happen during the day.
- Gratitude bingo. Before you mark a square, say one thing you’re thankful for.
- Friendsgiving. Add your friend group’s traditions and inside jokes to the list.
Frequently asked questions
What is dinner table bingo?
Instead of calling words, players mark squares as they happen: someone asks for seconds, the wishbone gets pulled, the football game comes on, someone naps on the couch. It keeps the kids’ table busy all afternoon.
Can I add our own family traditions?
Yes. Edit the list before making the cards, one item per line. Add your family’s signature dishes, inside jokes, or who always brings the pie.
Is it good for a classroom?
Yes. It works for a class party before the break, and you can add vocabulary words about harvest, gratitude, or the season.
How many players can play?
Make up to 100 cards at once, and every card is different.
